Programming (3 Days)
This training is an introduction to Teach Pendant
Programming (TPP). The planning of programs, modification in TPP, and backing
up of programs will be emphasized during the three days of training. The course
overview is as follows:
- Teach Pendant (TP) Overview
- Explanation of Coordinate Systems and Jogging the Robot
- Instruction on setup of Tool Frame
- Instruction on setup of User Frame
- Position Types
- Create Simple TP Programs
- Modify Existing TP Programs
- TPP Edit Commands
- TPP Program Instruction Sets
- User Frame Management
- Create complex TP Programs
- Overview of System Menus, Alarm Page, I/O Screens and Other System Functions
- Adjusting TP programs with Program Adjust utility
- Adjusting TP programs by teaching a new User Frame
- Backing up and restoring user files and controller software
Notes: After each instruction session there
will be hands-on labs; the time allotted for the lab sessions is flexible. A student guide is included in the course
investment.
Audience: This course is intended for the person who must program a FANUC robot. It is not intended for Maintenance personnel. Maintenance personnel should take the Electrical Maintenance and/or Mechanical Maintenance classes. Basic robot operations are covered in the Maintenance classes.
