Accuracy Enhancement Tools or System Calibration Tools?


There are two different versions of the accuracy tools on KMT systems. We train both tools together in the same class; but we want to ensure you've registered for the correct class so that we can prepare the correct manual for you.

Please do the following:

  1. On your teach pendant, press the MENU key
  2. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor (blue bar) over UTILITIES, and press ENTER.
  3. Press F1 [TYPE].
  4. Observe the names of the menus listed:
Accuracy Enhancement Tools:

Note the utilities called TCPMate and CalMate. This indicates Accuracy Enhancement (AE) Tools package; you will want to register for the Accuracy Enhancement Tools class.

System Calibration Tools:

Note the utilities called CellCal, TcpCal, and RobotCal. This indicates System Calibration (SC) Tools; you will want to register for the System Calibration Tools class.
